Coke Zero Advert Analysis

The picture for this advert is taken at a mid-shot with a side on angle to the model. This allows the camera to focus on the setting and the product itself. However, the advert is focusing on the product more than the setting due to the fact that it is using a shallow depth of field in order to keep the bottle, in the front of the frame, in focus; the image then begins to gradually get more and more out of focus the further you look into the background.

We can see the model holding not just the product, but also a guitar, we are also able to see blurred lights in the background so we can assume that the setting/location for this advert is at a concert or festival of some sort.

The model's clothes (costume) are quite plain. This is because the advert is trying to focus on the product. Also, the type of clothing being worn could be a reference to the target audience of this advert.

The lighting in this advert is coming from the spotlights in the background.
